My goofy everyday blog is Laugh It Up, Fuzzball. I go by The Fuzzball on Flickr, but I wanted something a little less Star Wars for my photoblog. Sorry, Chewie.

I'm a beginner to photography. It's a wonderful creative outlet for me, and I welcome any and all feedback to help me learn and grow! Having said that, nasty comments will get the stinkeye from me, so watch it.

I have taken pictures with a Nikon D50 for the past year and a half. Now I'll be using a D80 as well! Nikon has loaned me (and 49 other bloggers) the D80 and the 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G as part of their "Picture This" program. I'll be playing with it for up to a year (after which I'll be purchasing it at a nice discount, woo hoo!).

I currently own three lenses, the Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G, the Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D AF, and the Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G. In the new year I'll be learning to use my latest acquisition: a Nikon SB800 speedlight.
